The Moradabad Institute of Technology, commonly known as MIT, was established in the year 1996 and has been attaining new heights ever since its inception. MIT is located in the quaint city of Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh which is one of the first three degree engineering institutes in the state. It was started with only three B.Tech programmes by the Moradabad Educational Trust with an intake of 160 students.  Today, the institute runs five B.Tech courses along with an M.B.A and B.Voc course. The B.Tech programmes are offered in the fields of Electronics and Communication, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering.  MIT is affiliated to Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow (formerly known as UPTU) and is approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The campus of MIT is spread over an area of 13 acres with lush greenery, seven academic buildings and the latest state-of-the-art laboratories, Wi-Fi facility, computer centres, a digital library and a dedicated placement and training department.
